A short simulation project exploring dynamic character animation, cloth behavior, and cinematic composition using Daz3D, Marvelous Designer, and Cinema 4D.
Overview
This small project was created as an exercise to explore the interaction between animation and cloth simulation. The process started with character creation and animation in Daz3D, followed by realistic clothing design and simulation inside Marvelous Designer. All assets were then imported into Cinema 4D, where lighting, camera movement, and visual effects were added to create the final scene.
Daz3D — Character Creation & Animation
The base figure was modeled and animated inside Daz3D to define motion and timing for the falling sequence. The animation data was later exported for cloth simulation.
Marvelous Designer — Clothing Design & Simulation
In Marvelous Designer, a set of loose garments was designed and simulated to react naturally to the falling motion. The focus was on realistic folds, secondary movement, and collision accuracy with the character mesh.
Cinema 4D — Scene Composition
The final stage combined all assets in Cinema 4D, where camera movement, lighting, and rendering were set up using Octane. The goal was to achieve a cinematic, floating atmosphere emphasizing weightlessness and motion.
